Minimum Requirements and Best Practices for Bluestream Health Software
The Bluestream Health platform minimum requirements and best practices have been updated to optimize the user’s experience using the software. Whether onboarding new clients or connecting to a session on the Bluestream Platform, adhering to these guidelines ensures the best possible session.
Operating System Compatibility
- Windows: Windows 10 and above
- Mac: OS X 10.6 and above

iOS Best Practices: Apple recommends that iPhone and iPad users keep their devices updated with the latest iOS version. Currently, iOS is on version 17.2.1. While our software remains compatible with older iOS versions, upgrading to iOS 16.5 significantly enhances audio and video quality, providing better image resolution, reduced static sounds, minimized audio echoing, and fewer disconnects.
Compatible iPhones with iOS 16.5: All iPhone 13, 12, 11, X, and 8 models.
Compatible iPads with iOS 16.5: Various models like iPad Pro, iPad mini, and iPad Air. For detailed compatibility, refer to Apple’s page. - Android: Version 5.0 or newer
Browser Compatibility
For an optimal in-call experience, we recommend updating your browser to the latest version:
- Google Chrome: Version 67.0 and above. Instructions to update Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox: Version 52.0 and above. Instructions to update Firefox
- Safari: Version 14 and above. Instructions to update Apple/Safari
