How Do I Charge A Patient From A Mobile Device?

A patient can be charged immediately after the visit, or you or someone in your billing department can process the charge later.

Process the Charge Immediately After the Visit

After you end the visit (by tapping on the red end-call icon), you will be asked to confirm the end of the visit, and the Visit Summary page will appear.

Step 1. Tap the “$ Billing” payment icon.



Step 2. Enter the amount of the charge
(if the visit type has an associated fee, it will populate).

Step 3. Tap on “Charge”.
(If your organization has enabled the “Do not charge” feature, you can use it here.)

After the charge is completed, you will see this “Billing successful” screen.


Process the Charge at a Later Time

Step 1. Log in to your eVisit account and tap on the menu icon.

Step 2. Tap on “Visit History”.

Step 3. Tap on the visit you need to charge.
(The most recent visit will be at the top)

Step 4. Tap on "$ Billing".



Step 5. Enter the amount to charge.
(If your visit type has a fee already associated with it, it will populate here)

Step 6. Tap on “Charge”.
(If your organization has enabled the “Do not charge” feature, you can use it here)

After the charge is completed, you will see this “Billing successful” screen.
