How Do I Charge A Patient?

So you have finished your visit and would like to now charge a patient for the visit. This can be done in a few ways:

  • Immediately after the visit ends
  • During the visit to trigger the visit to end
  • In the Visit History tab from the Provider Dashboard

Immediately after the visit ends

After ending the visit by using the red end call icon you'll be presented with the following screen:

From here you can set the amount to charge and then Charge Patient Card to charge the patient.

During the visit

During the visit you'll see a Billing icon on the right hand navigation bar:

Once the Billing icon is selected you'll be presented with the option to Complete the visit now. Clicking the button will end the visit and prompt the Charge Patient Card:

Post Visit

If you forgot to charge your patient immediately after the visit or perhaps you have a practice admin doing the billing; the patient can be charged from the Visit History tab:

Once in the Visit History section, find the Visit and click the Billing icon

And enter the amount you'd like to charge
